Création Baumann at Design Post Köln: textile acoustics during ORGATEC 2026

Création Baumann is not in the Koelnmesse halls this year, but just next door: the Swiss textile specialist has its permanent showroom at Design Post Köln, which is an official ORGATEC venue for the first time in 2026 and the hub of idd cologne from 27 to 31 October.

At Design Post Köln

Design Post sits right next to the fairgrounds and brings ORGATEC and idd cologne together under one roof. Création Baumann shows its textile acoustics there: curtains, absorbers and room dividers that make rooms quieter without looking technical.

Textile acoustics, from curtain to absorber

Création Baumann develops fabrics that absorb sound, and turns them into products for every surface of a room:

• Acoustic curtains such as Alphacoustic, Betacoustic and Zetacoustic, which absorb sound in front of glass and can divide spaces.
• Acoustic Color Fields, textile surfaces for walls and as baffles and room dividers, in fields of colour.
• Absorbers made from textile offcuts, which turn production leftovers into acoustic panels.
• Fabrics for schools and sports halls, such as SPORT II, designed for rooms where robustness and good acoustics have to go together.
