selador stands for quiet moments in noisy spaces. The acoustics brand of Vöhringer from Trochtelfingen in southern Germany is at ORGATEC 2026 in Hall 7.1, Stand B044, from 27 to 30 October, right in the acoustic heart of the fair next to Narbutas and SPÄH.

Awarded at ORGATEC: Celor Triana Grande

On 27 October, the opening day of ORGATEC, selador's Celor Triana Grande received an award in the Innovation Award Architecture+ Office 2026. The competition is organised by the architecture magazines AIT and AIT-Dialog together with Koelnmesse, and a jury of architects and interior designers chose six winners from more than 30 submitted products.

Celor Triana Grande is a grid ceiling element with integrated lighting, developed with the lighting brand Lucea. It brings acoustics and light together in one element that fits standard 625 x 625 mm grid ceilings, so a ceiling can become quieter and better lit in one step, without extra fixtures. All submitted products are on show in the award's special exhibition at ORGATEC until 30 October.

Cellar door becomes selador

The name has a literary origin. J. R. R. Tolkien once called "cellar door" the most beautiful-sounding word in the English language, and selador took the idea literally: sound aesthetics are at the heart of the brand. Behind it stand more than 100 years of experience from Vöhringer, a specialist in wood and lightweight construction for furniture, motorhomes, trade fair stands and yachts. All selador products are made in Germany, with materials from European suppliers, tested in Vöhringer's own laboratory.

What selador makes

• Celor: elements for grid ceilings in the standard 625 x 625 mm format, from the calm Celor Plano Recto to the sculptural Celor Triana Grande, Celor Cursia, Celor Bolva and Celor Panal. They fit common grid ceiling systems, so existing ceilings can be upgraded without costly retrofitting.
• Cevita: free-hanging sails and baffles such as Cevita Cira, Cevita Sinua and Cevita Gota, suspended on wire ropes so they seem to float.
• Murea: wall elements, from Murea Plano to Murea Triana Grande and Murea Bolva.
• Divera and Divina: table and room dividers for flexible layouts.
• Studio: custom designs such as honeycomb, circle, trapeze and stone wall patterns.

The absorbing cores come in 100% recyclable PET fleece or pure natural fibres.
