While ORGATEC fills the Koelnmesse halls, mogu takes its bio-based acoustic panels to CircBuild, a six-day platform for architecture, design and circular building in Cologne from 26 to 31 October.

ORGATEC is not the only place to see acoustics in Cologne this week. From 26 to 31 October, mogu takes part in CircBuild, a six-day platform for architecture, design and circular construction that runs alongside the fair. CircBuild turns the Circular Hotspot Köln into a shared space with a curated exhibition, talks, workshops and conversations about reuse, circularity and new materials. A shuttle connects it with the fairgrounds.
mogu works with bio-based and circular materials such as mycelium, hemp and residual materials, and turns them into acoustic panels with textured, natural surfaces. Every panel is a small statement about how buildings could be made. Two of its materials were part of the Material World at MissionAcoustic MANIFESTO:
On Thursday, 29 October, 14:30 to 15:15, Serena Camere of mogu gives the design speech "Akustik im Kreislauf gedacht" (in English). She follows the path from material experiment to architectural product: how bio-based materials meet real requirements for performance, certification and fire safety, and where the challenges still are.
On the MOGU Discover page you can explore mogu's whole range, collect products in your own moodboards, and get or make acoustic concepts in minutes, including hearing the difference before anything is built. The team behind mogu is happy to support you at any stage of your project, from the first idea to the specification.
Circular building asks where materials come from and where they go after use. Bio-based acoustic panels answer both questions in a visible way. At the same time, they have to do their acoustic job: measured absorption, a fire rating and a clear end-of-life route. That combination is what planners should look for.

At ORGATEC 2026, Slalom presents Landscape of Resonance, a stand designed by Ippolito Fleitz Group. It takes resonance beyond absorption values: how people feel in a space, and how they attune to it.
